I first worked in major ad agencies… meeting challenges on major brands, including packaged goods, retail & corporate business brands. I worked with great talents in the industry. Teamwork, the ability to listen, perceive client needs, and responding timely, was paramount.

Then there was a downturn in the economy…businesses were cutting budgets. I explored moving client side to continue delivering uncompromised work with great results!

Exploring the Client Side

It was my first interview… a gentleman entered the room. He said, “The marketing job we were about to discuss was suspended by a hiring freeze.” He said it was okay to leave…or stay and talk anyway.

A Surprise Outcome

I chose to stay…we had an excellent conversation. He surprised me by saying he’d hire me as an ad agency to handle his marketing. I said I’d think about it. Other calls came in, and Cindy Reed Marketer was born in 1990. 

Open For Business

My first account was CNG (Consolidated Natural Gas) … the largest integrated energy company in the world at that time. It was an exciting beginning to a new venture. With lasting friendships, and long-term productive working relationships. I’ve grown quite a bit since then.

Thriving Today

Today, I’ve handled over $875,000,000 in client budgets. I find their key prospects, brand identities, develop key message platforms. I write copy that sells, create custom ads, negotiate a bunch of savings for clients’ ad schedules. I get them a better ROI. I love seeing my clients succeed…that inspires me to work smarter.
